In January, the BISE Lahore announced the schedule for the 10th-grade annual exams for 2025. The official schedule indicates that the exams will commence on March 4th, 2025.

English (Compulsory), Urdu (Compulsory), Islamic Studies (Compulsory), Pakistan Studies (Compulsory), Hifz-ul-Quran (Compulsory), Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, General Science, Mathematics (Science Group), General Mathematics (Arts Group), Advanced Islamic Studies (Optional), Punjabi, and Elements of Household Economics papers will be in two groups.
In all other subjects, all candidates will appear for the examination at the same time.
Roll Number Slip:
The date sheet of each candidate’s group and related subjects will be mentioned on his/her roll number slip.
No change of examination centre or group will be allowed under any circumstances.
The roll number slip must be brought to the examination room daily.
Verify the correctness of the theory and practical subjects, dates, times and groups mentioned on the roll number slip.
Ethics Paper:
Non-Muslim candidates who are taking the Ethics exam instead of Islamiat should take the exam on the scheduled date and time as per the date sheet.
Holidays:
Any holiday declared during the examination will not affect the date sheet.
Paper Time:
The invigilator will inform the candidates about the scheduled time at the beginning of the paper.
Mobile Phones:
Mobile phones are prohibited inside the examination centre and within 100 yards.
Objective and Essay Papers:
The time allotted for the objective and essay papers will be mentioned.
Impersonation:
Taking/taking an examination in the place of another candidate (impersonation) is an offence under the Malpractice Act.
Leaving the Examination Room:
If a candidate leaves the examination room in protest for any reason, then in no case will he/she be re-examined in that subject/subject.
Additional Information:
Ramadan will be during the examinations, so students will have to manage their time with their preparation and fasting.
The examinations will start from March 4 and the first paper will be Arabic in the first shift and History in the second shift.

TENTH Class Passing Marks Matric BISE Lahore
To successfully pass the Matriculation examinations administered by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Lahore, Pakistan, candidates are required to secure a minimum of 40% marks in each individual subject. Should a student’s score fall below this threshold in any subject, they will be deemed unsuccessful in that particular subject and will be obligated to retake the examination for that subject in the subsequent examination period.
